SUICIDE SILENCE Embark On The "Cleansing The Nation" Tour
SUICIDE SILENCE are set to embark on a massive headlining run this fall,
dubbed the “Cleansing The Nation” tour, with Emmure, Beneath The
Massacre, After The Burial and Architects UK. The trek, which kicks off
today, marks the end of the group’s worldwide touring cycle for The
Cleansing, their highly acclaimed debut offering. Either see below or
head over to www.myspace.com/suicidesilence to view their complete
touring itinerary. Fans can also check out the band’s vicious rendition
of the classic Deftones track “Engine No. 9” now on the MySpace page.
Mitch Lucker (vocals) states: “We just got home from Summer Slaughter
Europe and are now preparing to “Cleanse the Nation” one last time
before heading home to finish writing our next record. We’ll be playing
our longest set yet and can’t wait to destroy the states with Emmure,
Beneath The Massacre, After The Burial, and Architects UK. Get your
tickets now and we hope to see you all soon.”
There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that SUICIDE SILENCE has emerged from
the “Rockstar Energy Mayhem” tour as one of the fest’s breakthrough
artists. This group, pioneers of the famed deathcore genre, have struck
a nerve with fans across the country who are hungry for sheer,
unrelenting aggression that pummels the listener with an unabashed
mixture of brutality, precision and technicality.
