THEORY OF A DEADMAN "SCARS AND SOUVENIRS" DEBUTS AT #26 ON BILLBOARD TOP

New York, NY – Theory of A Deadman’s latest single “So Happy” has
reached #1 at Rock radio, a first in the band’s history. “So Happy” is
the lead track on Scars & Souvenirs, released last week on Roadrunner
Records. The album saw the band’s highest Billboard Top 200 debut at #
26 and sold upwards of 21,000 copies its first week, according to
Nielsen SoundScan. The single remains top 20 at Modern Rock.

Frontman Tyler Connolly had this to say about the feat, “Hitting number
one feels so great! Not only are we so excited, but we are truly humbled
that we have received such a great response for this song and our new
record. Thank you to all the wonderful Theory supporters out there!”

Rock, Modern Rock and Active Rock formats jumped on board with “So
Happy,” upon its initial delivery in February. In addition to being the #1 Most Added at Active Rock two weeks in a row, “So Happy” marked
Theory’s highest ever chart debut in the Top 25 with over 200 spins,
making it the #1 most increased song at the format. Mainstream Rock saw
the track debut at #27 with over 250 spins, another first for the band.

Scars & Souvenirs is the follow up to a very successful sophomore album
cycle (Gasoline) that included the huge radio hits “Santa Monica,” “No
Surprise” and “Hello Lonely.” The balanced 13-track effort is the
polished and passionate testament to seven years of hard work, heavy
touring and diligent attention to its craft. From the swirling grinds of
“So Happy” to the soaring melodicism of “Not Meant To Be” and “By The
Way,” Scars & Souvenirs is a broad-reaching endeavor that puts
singer/guitarist Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner and bassist Dean
Back high in the rock pantheon, achieving creative growth without
sacrificing the hard-hitting power that got them here in the first
place.

The band is set to kick off a North American tour this month.
