INTRONAUT Post Two New Video Clips Online; New Album Now Available
The wait is finally over as progressive titans INTRONAUT unveil their
much anticipated new album, Prehistoricisms, to the masses today.
Prehistoricisms, which was heralded as ‘one of the most anticipated
releases of 2008’ by Decibel Magazine, was engineered by Josh Newell
(Jane’s Addiction) and will certainly captivate the metal world with
it’s blend of psychedelic brutality, captivating hooks and unpredictable
time changes. An abstract, eye-popping new video for the track,
“Australopithecus,” was directed by the acclaimed Sera Timms (Isis,
Pelican). Click the link below to view a short preview of the clip and
look for it to make its online debut sometime next month.

A widget is now available at www.myspace.com/intronaut which features
two tracks from the album, “Australopithecus” and “The Literal Black
Cloud.” The group recently created an undeniable buzz across the country
on “The Ultimate Brodeo Tour” alongside Mouth of The Architect and
Behold… The Arctopus.
Sacha Dunable (vocals/guitars) further comments: “We just got home after
driving straight through from Nebraska, which means we were in a small
ass van for like 24 hours straight. Never again. The part of the tour
where we played shows with our best friends ever (Mouth Of The Architect
and Behold… The Arctopus) on the other hand was in fact awesome. This
was one of the longest trips we have ever done (7/29 – 9/10), and I
could seriously do it all over again.
“In a rare moment of genius, we decided to bring a video camera on the
tour, capturing some great performances, bro down sessions and the
amazing characters we encountered along the way. I’ll let you watch this
nine minute video we edited together to try and understand what life was
like for 39 days or so. Part 2 should be coming soon.

“We also made our first ever music video. It was done by Sera Timms
(Isis, Pelican). We have seen a short clip, and I must say I am pretty
impressed. We were kind of concerned that a video would come across as
cheesy or forced, but Sera made a really elaborate storyline to go along
with the very vague lyrical content (quite a feat) and just made this
amazing video that we can totally be proud of. We can’t wait for you all
to see it and we will be back on the road soon.”
