TERROR Posts New Track Online; Comments On Firestorm Fest

TERROR have triumphantly returned with their much anticipated new
full-length offering, The Damned, The Shamed, which is set for a June
10th release. This vicious slab of brutality was produced by the
renowned Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) and is sure to please the
band’s diehard fanbase, while garnering a new legion of young maniacal
supporters. The vicious new track, “Relentless Through and Through,” is
now streaming on the band’s revamped MySpace page
(www.myspace.com/terror), so head on over now to check it out.

Scott Vogel further states: “We’ve just returned home from a very
successful run on as part of the Firestorm Fest. It was really cool to
see Earth Crisis after all this time. They were definitely a band that
taught me a lot and one that I really loved for a period of my youth.
The shows were really good, all the bands were cool and we got to tour
with Sworn Enemy and Down To Nothing for the first time, which was
fucking great.

“We are now preparing for the upcoming European tour with Ignite, Strung
Out and Death Before Dishonor. This package is so strong and I bet all
of the shows will be fucking insane. We then head to Russia for the
first time after that and I can’t wait. Then it’s off to South America
for the 4th time and we will be hitting more countries on this run then
any other previous hardcore tour. That’s what keeps us going, reaching
new places and expanding further and further.

“The new record is also now complete and we are super happy with the
results. There are some things on there that will catch people off
guard, but it is and will always be TERROR, so fear not. We are just
taking everything to the next level. We are very excited to have a new
label and booking agent onboard for a fresh start and new ideas. We look
forward to seeing you all soon.”

TERROR’s melding of no-frills breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new
generation metal bridges the gap between young and old, and it makes for
one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin.

Rest assured that, The Damned, The Shamed is the definitive hardcore
album of 2008.
