WINDS OF PLAGUE Prepares For North American Touring Onslaught
WINDS OF PLAGUE is currently one of the hottest bands in the genre,
which is further cemented by the fact that they were just hand-picked by
the legendary Glenn Danzig for his 20th anniversary tour this fall. The
massive North American trek, dubbed the “Blackest of The Black,” kicks
off in October and also features Dimmu Borgir, Moonspell and
Skeletonwitch. Look for dates to be announced in the coming weeks.
WINDS OF PLAGUE will embark on their next North American jaunt in late
July as part of the “Thrash and Burn” festival that also features
Darkest Hour, Parkway Drive, Misery Signals, Stick To Your Guns, Arsis,
Light This City, Arsonists Get All The Girls and After The Burial so

The group just completed a highly successful eight-week run of the U.S.
on the “Metal For The Masses” tour; playing alongside some of the
Century Media family’s hottest new acts, including As Blood Runs Black
and Stick To Your Guns. A new video has also been shot for “The Impaler”

Johnny (vocals) further describes his excitement: “Anytime anyone would
ask me who my favorite band would be to tour with, without thought I
would respond immediately with Dimmu Borgir. Well, I’m speechless over
the fact that we have been invited to share the stage with Dimmu Borgir
and the legendary Danzig on this year’s ‘Blackest of The Black’ tour. I
still can’t fathom the thought and my head’s about to explode. After
wrapping up the very successful ‘Metal For The Masses,’ tour we are
eager to jump back on the road and continue the rampage. We hope to see
