Revolver Magazine Wishes Everyone A Very “black Metal Xmas”; Post Brutal New Cover Online

REVOLVER Magazine kicks off the holiday season in true heavy metal fashion with the eye-popping “Black Metal Xmas” cover feature, which is composed of the heavyweights of the black metal genre: Nergal (vocals/guitars of Behemoth), Shagrath (vocals of Dimmu Borgir) and Dani Filth (vocals of Cradle of Filth). The issue hits newsstands everywhere on Nov. 27th and features a roundtable interview with the metal legends discussing the insincerity of yuletide cheer, their worst Christmases ever, the state of black metal and more. Nergal further comments: “If someone told me that BEHEMOTH would be featured on the front cover of the biggest U.S. metal magazine one day I would have laughed, but it seems like all the giant work we put into this band in America during recent years has not only been appreciated by die hard fans and underground press but also by the mainstream media. It’s actually unheard of that such an extreme metal genre would get so much attention and recognition from really big magazines. Needless to say I am extremely stoked and grateful. Revolver’s ‘Black Metal Xmas’ feature is simply mind-blowing! It’s all about bringing evil and danger back into the music genre. I bet you’re gonna love it.”

After emerging as Ozzfest 2007’s most talked about act, Polish extreme metal titans BEHEMOTH recently completed a massive, month-long North America trek on the Radio Rebellion Tour, co-headlining alongside Job For A Cowboy and others. The group have performed over 150 shows this year and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon as their highly acclaimed album remains on pace to become their highest selling effort yet.

BEHEMOTH recently completed a new video for the track, “Prometherion,” shot by acclaimed director SOREN (All That Remains, Unearth). The clip is a frenetic, savage performance based video that perfectly showcases the band’s unrelenting energy and uncompromising vision.
