Dethklok Breaks Chart Records First Week On Billboard Top 200!!!
METALOCALYPSE: DETHKLOKS THE DETHALBUM DEBUTS AT #21 WITH NEARLY 34,000 SOLD!!! + 45,000 STREAMS ON AOL MUSIC AND VIDEO PREMIERS ON MUSIC CHOICE!!!
Heavy metal juggernauts Dethklok have exploded onto the music scene with the release of The Dethalbum, selling nearly 34,000 copies in its first week!! The ferocious new record from the stars of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse debuted at #21 on the Billboard Top 200 and dominated the Loud Rock Radio charts, hitting #6 on CMJ, #11 on FMQB, and #1 on Mediaguide Metal Specialty. This makes Metalocalypse: Dethkloks The Dethalbum the highest charting death metal album EVER!!! The Dethalbum was also streamed 45,000 times when it went live on AOL Music during the week of its release.

The September 25 release of Metalocalypse: Dethkloks The Dethalbum coincided with the start of Season 2 of Metalocalypse on Adult Swim and the release of Metalocalypse: Season 1 on DVD. The DVD, which hit streets on October 2, sold over 18,000 units in its first two days!!
The brutal music video for Dethkloks Bloodrocuted will be hitting the tube October 22 on Music Choice Video On Demand. Music Choice is the #1 On Demand network in the country, and their content has been viewed over 1 billion times.
Dethklok and Metalocalypse creators Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha will be guest DJs on Sirius Faction. The first-ever split Hostile Takeover show will air October 19 at 7PM EST, and features both the creators and the band spinning their favorite metal hits!!
