Arch Enemy Debuts At #84 On The Billboard Top 200 Chart
Once again, ARCH ENEMY undoubtedly proves that they are one of the most acclaimed and influential bands within the metal genre as their phenomenal new album, Rise of The Tyrant, debuted at #84 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. This surpasses the highly acclaimed Doomsday Machine chart entry making it the band’s highest charting effort yet.
This accomplishment also marks another milestone for Century Media Records, who are celebrating consecutive top 100 Billboard debuts. Last week, Suicide Silence entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #94, which also marked the highest debut ever for a new Century Media artist.
Mike Amott (guitars) further comments: “It’s amazing for an extreme metal band from Sweden to have such a strong debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart and we wanted to thank all of our fans for their undying support over the years. Rise of The Tyrant is a scorching effort that marks the reunion of the heralded Amott brothers guitar tandem and is clearly destined to be the group’s defining moment. They recently completed an eye-popping new video for the track, “Revolution Begins,” with acclaimed director Patric Ullaeus (In Flames, Lacuna Coil). Look for the clip to make its debut on the Headbangers Ball blog in the coming weeks.
