Picked as direct tour support to famed metal miserablists TYPE O NEGATIVE, Finland’s one & only monster rock n’ roll extravaganza and winners of 2006’s Eurovision Song Contest (by its highest score ever!) make their US return next month after triumphantly rocking this year’s OZZFEST 2007. Known for their larger than life horror costumes, explosive stage antics and anthemic metal/pop sounds, LORDI’s live dates with rock’s legendary green giants are sure to be nothing short of extraordinary. The highly anticipated tour kicks off October 12th through Halloween.
LORDI’s celebrated release, The Arockalypse, ranks among the top 60 best-selling Finnish albums ever and has met to shining critical acclaim in the US since its release on The End Records last March. The band’s new video, for the infectious track “Would You Love A Monsterman?” had its network television premiere this month and is currently in rotation on MTV2’s “Headbangers Ball.”
