The Dillinger Escape Plan: Forced To Postpone Touring

October 2, 2007- THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have been forced to postpone their upcoming tour plans in support of their forthcoming full length, Ire Works, due to a severe injury incurred by DEP guitarist Ben Weinman during a recent video shoot.

Weinman states, “Unfortunately do to a freak accident during our video shoot I managed to break my foot pretty severely. After two doctor’s visits, it is clear that we will have to postpone our US and European tour until a later date. New dates will be posted soon and we promise to come back bigger and better then ever.”

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN recorded Ire Works with long-time engineer Steve Evetts at Evetts’ Omen Room Studios in Los Angeles , CA . The band has unveiled the first preview track and album opener “Fix Your Face” exclusively via the band’s MySpace: www.MySpace.com/DILLINGERESCAPEPLAN. Ire Works is set for a November 13 North American release date, November 12 internationally.
