The Agonist Post New E-card And Videos Online

Montreal’s hottest new export, THE AGONIST, is quickly becoming one of the most talked about new artists within the genre due primarily to an unrelenting touring schedule playing alongside such diverse acts as Enslaved, Epica, Sonata Arctica and Overkill. Look for them to remain on the road through the end of the year and see www.myspace.com/theagonist for their complete itinerary.

Alissa White-Gluz’s (vocals) uncompromising vision, intelligence and thought-provoking lyrics has also helped garner some positive attention. Their vicious debut offering, Once Only Imagined, tackles some of society’s biggest issues, including animal testing, drug abuse, eating disorders, environmental protection and man’s inhumanity towards man and animals. The band’s ultimate goal, though, is simply to encourage people to think for themselves. Once Only Imagined is now available everywhere.

A new E-Card is now available, which features video messages from Alissa discussing the meaning behind each track on the disc, along with their first music video for the track “Business Suits and Combat Boots,” shot by renowned director David Brodsky (All That Remains, GWAR, The Red Chord). Click the link below to check it out.
