Despised Icon Prepares For Major North American Tours

DESPISED ICON continues their non-stop touring onslaught in support of their highly acclaimed new album, The Ills of Modern Man, on August 12th alongside Darkest Hour, Job For A Cowboy, A Life Once Lost and The Faceless. This devastating package is a one of the most brutal, fan-friendly, affordably-priced tours this summer and is sure to be the perfect alternative to the oversaturated festival events.

This trek leads them directly into another crushing U.S. tour with labelmates Suicide Silence and Winds of Plague, which kicks off on Sept. 2nd and runs through Sept. 26th. Check below for the complete tour routing or visit the band’s official MySpace page www.myspace.com/despisedicon.

Alex Erian (vocals) states: “Our last U.S. run with The Red Chord, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, All Small Penis and See You Next Tuesday was probably our favourite tour ever. Cheers again to all the bands and to everyone that showed up, hung out and made that tour so memorable for us. We released our new record during that tour so I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who picked it up and showed interest in our new shit. Looks like we won’t be spending much time at home over the next few months because we have two amazing tours lined up. We’ll be hitting mostly cities we haven’t played this year. See you on the road.”

In 2007, DESPISED ICON further establishes their position as one of the genre’s most devastating new acts.
