New York, NY— Musician Jeremy Fisher will take his charismatic and witty live show on the road through December in support of his US debut ‘Goodbye Blue Monday’ (Sept. 18, Wind-up Records). Fisher will embark on an extensive Australian tour opening for Xavier Rudd following US dates with Jenny Owen Youngs, Sanders Bohike, The Weakerthans and The Last Town Chorus.

Meanwhile, Fisher has been selected as a 2007 “Barnes & Noble Discover Artist.” ‘Goodbye Blue Monday’ will be available for purchase exclusively in Barnes & Noble stores beginning August 1st. In addition, Paste Magazine has picked Fisher for the “4 To Watch” section of the October issue. Fisher will make his highly anticipated US television debut August 20th and 21st on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. This special two-night stand will showcase Fisher performing the first night solo and the second night with his band. Fisher’s “Cigarette” is also currently featured as a Yahoo! Music Stop! Hawksley Workman (Tegan & Sara), who produced, performed and sang backing vocals on ‘Goodbye Blue Monday,’ says, “This is the sort of record that sounds like you’ve been playing it forever even as it explores themes that are altogether unprecedented—and that is no mean feat. Jeremy’s a brilliant and direct songwriter with a bright soul.”
